Willis Jasper Pullins passed away Thursday, April 3, 2008, at his residence in Alamogordo. Willis was born in Medaryville, Indiana to Harold F. and Della Faye (Houston) Pullins.
Willis retired as a United States Postmaster in Indiana and worked for several years at Holloman Air Force Base with the COCESS contractor for the 49th Civil Engineer Squadron.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Bettilou of the family home; a son, Willis T. Pullins and his wife Sandy of Frankfort, Indiana; a daughter, Della Gale DeRollo and her husband Anthony, of Alamogordo, New Mexico; five grandchildren, Steve and his wife Kristie, Willis J. Bohac, Robbyne Mauldin and her husband Jesus, Jeff and his wife Stacy, Brett and his wife Lane; and two great grandchildren Benjamin and Faith Pullins. He is also survived by his sister Betty Faye Schultz,, of Reynolds Station, Kentucky as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be conducted Sunday, April 6, 2008 at Amber Skies Club House at 1:00 p.m.
Direct Cremation will take place under the care of PCS Direct Cremation Services.
Memorial contributions maybe made to Alamo Home Care and Hospice, PO Drawer 29, Alamogordo New Mexico 88311.
