William Moran, 70

William Moran, 70, passed away on March 31, 2015 at his home in Cloudcroft, New Mexico. He was born on August 1, 1944 in Middletown, New York to William E. Moran and Dorothy Alice (Devitt) Preston.
Bill did many things throughout his life including heavy equipment mechanic, miner and trader of items and stories. He was known as "Trader Bill" by many of his friends.
He met and later married the love of his life, Frances Deater on October 20, 2007 in Cloudcroft, New Mexico. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Cloudcroft.
Bill is survived by his wife of eight years, Frances Moran; four sons, David Moran and Steven Brito of Cloudcroft, Tim and Bobby Jo Deater of Michigan and Jack Moran of Arizona; three daughters, Kaley Deater of Cloudcroft, Carrie Nelson of Michigan and Brenda Moran of Arizona; seven grandchildren, Devin and Dillon Anderson of Arizona, Cathleen Cheek of Kansas, Bryan Moran of Mississippi, Trinity and Nora Deater, and Cerena Nelson all of Michigan; one great grandson, Kaden Anderson; sister, Nancy Lewis and her husband Tom of Texas and numerous family and friends in the Tularosa Basin area.
Family is planning a Memorial Service on June 6, 2015 at the family home in 16 Springs, New Mexico.
