William Dumale, Jr. Obituary

William M. Dumale, Jr., aged 73, went Home to be with the Lord on August 30, 2021, at his home in Tularosa, New Mexico. He was born in the Philippines on March 15, 1948, to Guillermo & Vicenta Dumale, & came to the United States when he was 6 years old as a U.S. Army dependent. He is the oldest of 8 children. Known as "Papa Willie" to his 7 siblings, 24 nieces & nephews, 22 grand-nieces/nephews, & 1 great niece, William began helping to raise his younger siblings while still a teenager, & then their children, well into his adulthood. A family man at heart, this is when he was the happiest! He enjoyed the privilege of living with & visiting family in several different states. William had a life-long passion for the U.S. Military, & loved military books, movies, documentaries & memorabilia. He was the self-proclaimed No.1 Fan of Elvis Presley, faithful fan of the Dallas Cowboys, San Antonio Spurs, & WWE Wrestling, & loved anything "Wild, Wild West". He was known as the "Honorary Mayor" of Coon Valley, WI because he was the friendliest guy in town, would pop in to all the businesses to say hello on his daily walks, & would always tidy up the sidewalks. At his home church in Tularosa, NM he was the door greeter, traffic waver, & hugger of all who entered. William never knew a stranger, & loved a good conversation about anything. He was a man of small stature with a huge personality! Above all, William loved Jesus, & he loved his family dearly.
