Tommie A. Higgins, 95, passed away on October 19, 2023 in Las Cruces, New Mexico. He was born on May 1, 1928 in Glenwood, New Mexico to Nick and Charlotte (Montoya) Higgins. 

He was one of Jehovah's witnesses and had a love for his God and his word, the Bible.

He leaves behind his three sons, Tommy W (Andrea) Higgins, Ronnie (Christiane) Higgins of Alamogordo, NM and Kevin (Chris) Higgins of Montrose, Co.; grandchildren, Ronald, Richard, Tyrell, Valerie, Amanda, Jeremy, Jonathan and Lacey along with several great grandchildren/great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Viola C. Higgins; his son, Nick Higgins; his granddaughter, Michelle (Higgins) Gilbreath; his parents, Nick Henry and Charlotte Higgins; his sister, Flora Fullman and his brother, Clive Higgins.

Tommie was well known in Alamogordo as an electrician having wired many buildings in the area.

The family has entrusted their loved one to the care of PCS Direct Cremation Service for direct cremation.  Tommie A Higgins has requested that there be no memorial services.
