Sheri Don Bailey
Obituary
After struggling for years with Alzheimer's, Sheri Don Bailey is at peace. She passed quietly at Casa Arena Blanca Nursing Center in Alamogordo, NM at 77 years of age. Sheri was such a loving and sweet person and will be missed. The world could use many more like her.
She was born in Ft Worth, TX on July 23, 1945. Her rewarding career included Braniff International Airlines, American Airlines, Cashier for Bell Helicopter International, an executive secretary for the CEO of Volkswagen of America. After retiring, she sold real estate before moving to Ruidoso in 1997 where she became director of the Ruidoso Board of Realtors. She was well liked in the community to no surprise.
Sheri was preceded in death by her father, Bradford Bailey; her mother Dorothy Bailey and her brother Bradford Bailey Jr. She is survived by her brother, Bobby Bailey of Alto, NM; her sisters in law, Melinda Bailey of Huntsville, TX and Gail Bailey of Alto, NM as well as her nephews, Bradford Bailey III of Huntsville, TX and Chad Bailey of Colorado; and niece, Jill Bailey of Albuquerque, NM
A private family interment is planned. Any remembrances made in her name to the Alzheimer's Association would be greatly appreciated.
