Robert Sandoval, 74
Robert Sandoval, 74, passed away on December 22, 2012 in Alamogordo, New Mexico. He was born on September 5, 1938 in Tularosa, New Mexico to Pantenadelone and 13 years old his family moved to San Francisco, California, and it was there that he Bennie (Salazar) Sandoval. Robert spent his early years in Tularosa. When he was around met the love of his life, Irene Hickman. They drove to Reno, NV on January 1st, 1958 and got married. They raised their seven children in San Francisco. In 1990 they moved their family to Las Cruces NM and in 2003 came to Alamogordo to retire.
Robert was the greatest husband, son, father, brother and uncle. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Irene Sandoval; mother, Bennie M Salazar; seven children, 23 grandchildren, 20 great great grandchildren and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Robert had many hobbies to include, hunting, fishing and motor cycle racing. He had a special horse named Charo that he loved very much. He was a carpenter by trade and made many beautiful pieces of furniture that his family will treasure forever.
The Sandoval family has entrusted their loved one to the care of PCS Direct Cremation Services.
