RAYMOND EDWARD VALLEJOS, SR.

(7 November 1945 - 1 October 2015)
Ray Vallejos went home to be with the Lord on October 1, 2015 in his home with his wife by his side. Ray was born in Trinidad Colorado on 7 November 1945

Ray is survived by his wife; Marie Vallejos and his Children; Raymond Vallejos, Jr.(Yulia) of Aurora Colorado; Shawn Vallejos of Avon Colorado; DJ Casias (Diana) of Aurora Colorado; Valerie Casias of Commerce City Colorado; Nick Pellegrin of Freemont California; Heather Lampos of Bangor Maine; and Christopher Vallejos of Alamogordo New Mexico, Sister Josie (Pat) Romero of Salem Oregon, Kathy Snyder of Walden Colorado; Brothers Ben Vallejos of Farley New Mexico, Manual (Cheryl) Vallejos of Las Cruces, Sister-in-law Barbara Vallejos of Las Cruces; Grandchildren, Kenneth, Summer, Eliana, Brook and Mikhail; And many nieces and nephews.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Dolores Vallejos, Brothers Hank and Robert Vallejos, and son Henry Casias.

Ray graduated with an engineering degree from Southern Colorado State and used his degree for over 33 years as an Electronic Engineer and Program Manager on White Sands Missile Range, Holloman AFB and ending his career as a site Manager at NASA WSTF, Las Cruces. He served the New Mexico Army National Guard from Nov 1966 - July 1972

Besides being a loving and devoted husband and father; Ray was an ardent golfer and fisherman with many friends on and off the course and river.

Memorial Celebration of his life will be at 4:00pm on Friday 9 October 2015 at Desert Lakes Golf Course, Alamogordo New Mexico.
