Mary Lou Louise Miller, 81

Mary Lou Louise Miller, 81, passed away on Nov 2, 2008 in El Paso, Texas. She was born on June 19, 1927 in Bettendorf, Iowa to Oscar Marion and Louise Marie (Asmus) Sweely.

Survivors include her daughter, Janett Marie Quick and husband Daniel of Alamogordo; son, Richard Harold Sass and wife Gerry of Cloudcroft; two grandchildren, Michael Quick and Menta Quick both of Alamogordo; sister, Helen C. Baugher of Clinton, IA; numerous nieces, nephews and adopted children.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold Sass in 1952 and second husband, Michael Miller, in 1982.

Mary Lou was a life member of the VFW, member of MOCA, Our Savior Lutheran Church and quilting group at the church. She retired from the Civil Service in 1991.

A Memorial Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 8, 2008 at Our Savior Lutheran Church.
