Lucio L. Maes

Lucio found it especially important to spend time with his family. Family trips would be going to Mexico visiting the beautiful cities of Chihuahua, Mexico City, and Acapulco. The grandchildren would be excited to receive a call to get ready to go to Caballo Lake, or Elephant Butte Lake were great memories where made. Grandpo Lucio was always available for all his grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Whether cheering them on at a sports banquet or sport event, attending their Christmas programs, Religious Ceremonies or just getting them to their appointments. Grandpo Lucio was always ready to help in any way that he could.
Lucio also enjoyed the excitement around the grounds of the racetrack. Whether he was at Sunland Park or Ruidoso Downs, or just at home watching the Kentucky Derby, Horse Racing brought great delight to Lucio’s heart.
