Kerry Kaye Coates

Kerry Kaye (Anderson) Coates passed away April 29, 2014 at her home in Capitan, NM. She was born April 1, 1950. She was preceded in death by parents Bernice & Robert F. Anderson from the Brainerd area.

Kerry leaves husband Paul, siblings Wayne Roemhildt (Shirley), Elysian, MN, Norman Anderson, Aitkin, MN, Bonne Roemhildt, Stillwater, MN, & 8 nieces and nephews.

Kerry was a true artist & musician. After studying with Horst Rechelbacher she owned a beauty salon in Crosby for many years, and later built dulcimers & harps and designed clothing. Her Pancho Villa velvet cape/coat was purchased by Cher, Jane Fonda, and many western music stars. What she really loved was performing and teaching historical music at festivals in the southern states.

Private memorial services have been held.

The Coates family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Professional Crematory Services.
