Julia Ann Burris

July 26,1932 - August 22,2021

Julia Ann Burris passed away peacefully in her home on August 22,
2021 at the age of 89. Julie was born to Otto and Henrietta Kriberney on
July 26, 1932 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Julie spent her childhood in the Pittsburgh area. She then met her loving
husband, Frederick L. Burris and moved to wherever the Army took
them. After an honorable discharge, Fred and Julie moved their family to
Roswell, New Mexico. Upon retiring in September 1996, they moved to
their beloved Sacramento Mountains.

Julie has always been a firm believer in Jesus Christ and very devoted to
her church. She lived a fulfilling life as a loving and devoted wife,
mother and friend. Julie loved the outdoors, baking, gardening, and
writing poetry but what was most precious to her was her grandchildren
and great grandchildren.

Julie is preceded in death by her loving husband of 43 years, Frederick
L. Burris, her parents, brother and sister. She is survived by her children:

Michael Burris and his wife Melanie and his children Kenneth (Cassy)
Burris, Norman (Jill) Burris and Lakota (Cole) Bates. Cathy Burris and
her sons Benny (Jennifer) Youngblood and Matthew Youngblood. David
Burris and his children, Christopher (Samantha) Burris and Jessica
Burris. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Weed Baptist Church on Friday,
September 10, 2021 at 11 am followed by a small graveside service at the
Weed Cemetery. Since Julie was an avid outdoorswoman the family
