John “Sam” Miller, 73
John “Sam” Miller, 73, passed away at his home in Alamogordo on November 8, 2023. He was born December 20, 1949 in Winston-Salem NC to the late Clarence Austin and Anna Rich Miller. Sam served as a Munitions Specialist in the Air Force and Army Corp of Engineers as a Construction Representative. He was a certified Machinist and Metallurgist.
Sam is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Molly Schaeffer Miller of the family home; a sister and brother; two grandchildren; one great grandchild and a several nieces and nephews all of Winston-Salem, NC.
Sam wishes to thank the many friends he made over the years locally and statewide.
Family will have private services for Sam.
