Longtime Alamogordo Resident
John William Deegan, 91, of Alamogordo, passed away, Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at his home.
Mr. Deegan was born July 31, 1917 in Burlington, VT to Franklin Francis and Stella (Duffy) Deegan. Mr. Deegan moved to Alamogordo in 1958 and worked for Teledyne Ryan, a Government Contractor, at McGregor Range, White Sands Missile Range and Holloman Air Force Base until he retired.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Melody Cheesman.
Survivors include his wife of sixty-three years, Winnie Deegan of the family home; two daughters, Carol Bruce of Alamogordo and Frances Davis of Bakersfield, CA; three granddaughters, Amber, April and Jessica; two great grandsons, Jayden and John; a great granddaughter, Taylor Ann and two great, great grandsons, Jacob and Jordan.
Direct Cremation has taken place under the care of PCS Direct Cremation Services.
