Jean Swan Neison, 69

Jean Swan Neison of Alamogordo, NM, passed away at her home on Wednesday, September 8, 2010. Jean was born on September 26, 1940 in India to Alfred and Bernadette Murray. She spent her early years in England before moving to the U.S. in 1962. Jean is the first generation of the Murray family to immigrate to the United States and become a U.S. citizen.

Jean spent many years working in the hotel industry. She retired from Medical Associates in East Stroudsburg, PA.

One of Jeans greatest loves was art. She was a passionate and accomplished painter for many years.

She was friends with many people from all around the country. Jean will always be remembered for her tender, giving spirit and unforgettable grace.

Jean is survived by her sister, Jacqui Grantham of England; her son, Brian Neison of Key West, FL; her daughter, Vicki Cramer of Bolivia, NC; grandchildren Cherilyn, Stephanie, Brittany, Ryan and Nicole. She also has two great-grandchildren, Taylor and Scott and nieces and nephews in England.

Private services were held for family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.

The Neison family has entrusted their loved one to the care of PCS. Direct cremation will take place at PCS.
