Janet Craft Badjar passed away on December 23,2014 in Alamogordo, New Mexico. Janet was born on October 27, 1937 in Torrington Connecticut to Manford and Maude Craft.
Janet graduated from Torrington High School in 1956 and soon after met and married Edward Badjar. They were married on April 19, 1958 and had three children. Janet and Edward lived in Torrington Connecticut all of their lives until 1989 when they moved to Alamogordo New Mexico.
Janet had a love for horses and horseback riding. Janet also had a love for country dancing and had participated in a local dance group. Janet had a talent of painting and drawing and was an avid knitter and crocheter. Janet would share her talents of knitting and crocheting by participating in the local fair.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents Mac and Maude. Janet was survived by her husband of56 years Edward Badjar of the family home, daughter Jamie Teater and her husband James, sons John Badjar and his wife Toni, and James Badjar and his wife Gale. Janet had 6 grandchildren; Brian Hyland, Jennifer Dyche and her husband Mark, Jason Hyland, John Badjar and his wife Kim, Ashley Hyland and Heather Badjar. Janet also had 13 great grandchildren who she thoroughly enjoyed.
Janet took great joy in her family and friends. Janet was an amazing women who was adored and loved by many. Janet will be forever leave a lasting impression on all who knew her and will be missed greatly.
