Gloria Scott Obituary

Gloria Scott, 75, passed peacefully at her home on January 25, 2026. She was born on October 3, 1950, in Sylvania Georgia. Her family would move to Alamogordo when her father was stationed at Holloman AFB. 


Gloria grew up in Alamogordo where she graduated from High School. She moved to El Paso to go to college and become a Phlebotomist. She later took more college courses to begin her career at E.D.I. Financial as a Financial Advisor/Broker where she worked over 25 years. Gloria loved to travel. She retired and moved back to Alamogordo to be closer to her family. Gloria was a member of New Zion First Baptist Church as her mother was for many years.


Gloria is loved and will be missed by her surviving son, grandson, sister, brothers, and many loving friends she has in El Paso, Texas. 


Services for Gloria Scott will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at New Zion Baptist Church.


The Scott family has entrusted their loved one to the care of PCS Direct Cremation Service for direct cremation.
