Frederick K Walters, Jr., 74, of Cloudcroft passed away at home with his family.
Fred was born in Chicago, Illinois, May 17, 1934. He moved to New Mexico in 1957 and started work at White Sands Missile Range. In the 32 years he worked at WS he worked in DOVAP, Timing and ID, spending lots of time in the Control Room of Bldg 300. He was also Municipal Judge of Cloudcroft for 14 years. Fred was an amateur radio operator (WB5CBD and AAR6ZM) and an old car nut.
Fred is survived by his wife Debbie, his son Kevin and his daughter Wendy.
There will be a memorial cookout to celebrate his life on May 16 at noon in Cloudcroft.

Direct Cremation will take place under the care of PCS Direct Cremation Services.
