Floyd William Hornback Jr. (Bill) of Tularosa, New Mexico passed at home, on July 21st 2011 70 years young past away after a long fight with CANCER. Born March 12th 1941 in Hayti, Missouri to Floyd and Willie Hornback.
Bill retired from the Air Force in 1983, then spent 20 years as a Jeweler, was a volunteer fire fighter with Jackrabbit Flats Volunteer fire department.
He enjoyed life, gardening, working on old sewing machines and quilting.
He will be miss by all who got to know and love him.
Bill is survived by wife Shirley Shipton; two brothers, Jimmy Dean and Herbert Lyn; two sisters, Javada Gaye and Dinah Sue; two daughters, Ella Duckworth and Lisa Leifeste; two sons, William and Floyd; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation took place at PCS and no services per his request.
The family has entrusted their loved one to the care of PCS to direct the arrangements. Cremation will take place at PCS.
