Edward Ragan, 85
Edward Ragan, 85, passed away on August 11, 2013 after a long illness. He was born on January 3, 1928 in Seminok, Oklahoma to H.H. (Pete) and Virgie Ragan of Mayhill, NM.
Edward was a longtime resident and owner of R & S Kennels in Alamogordo, NM. He was a proud Army Veteran serving in Japan with the Transportation Corps.
He is preceded in death b y his father and mother, six brothers, B.J. Ragan, E.S. Ragan, J.T. Ragan, B.E. Ragan, D.H. Ragan and baby Ragan and one sister, D.N. Ragan.
He is survived by long time friend and caregiver, Frances Nicholson; three sisters, Estelle Moser, Gladys Bonnell and husband Don and Myrtle Height; brother, Johnny Ragan and wife Faye and many nieces and nephews and good friends.
Edward, besides owning and operating R & S Kennels for over 52 years, worked at Holloman for Howard Huges. Per Edwards request, "love your pets", and take time to talk to everyone!
There are no services planned.
Direct Cremation will take place under the care of PCS Direct Cremation Services.
