Donna Wilkey

Donna Wilkey, 77, went to be with our Lord on Saturday, March 29, 2014.

She was born in Ventura, Calif., on May 26, 1936 to James and Frances Rutherford.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years Craig Wilkey of High Rolls, N.M., daughter Debbie and her husband Ron Myers of Burleson, Texas, son Jeff and his wife Sherry and son Jim and his wife Lynn both of High Rolls, son Little Joe and his wife BJ of Houston, Texas.

She is also survived by her brother Frank Rutherford and his wife Saacha of Phoenix, Ariz., and sister Betty Lou and husband Chuck Powell of Three Rivers, Calif.

She has seven grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. There are also many other boys she raised and loved as her own. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Ilene and Martha and by one brother, James.

Donna dedicated her life talking care of her family. And she volunteered at numerous nursing homes through her years, primarily at Betty Dare and Casa Arena Blanca, where she spent her final days. She is loved by many and will be missed by all.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday April 13, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Trinity Baptist Church in High Rolls, N.M. We invite our family, friends and loved ones to join us to celebrate her life.
