Consawilla (Connie) O'Rear passed away Sunday, August 2, 2015. She was born March 19, 1921 in Emory TX to William and Mollisse Gilbert. She married Thomas B. O'Rear in 1941 - they moved from Emory TX to Carrizzo NM where she was a homemaker and beautician. She moved to Alamogordo NM and was a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows as a Rebecca.

She is survived by a daughter, Belle and her husband Frank Rountree of Humble Tx - four brothers Oney Gilbert of Canton, Troy Gilbert of Canton, Cecil Gilbert of Canton, and Jack Gilbert of Arkansas; four sisters Yvonne Chance of Florida, Opal Farley of Mesquite, Dian Dunlap of Rowlett and Pat Miner of Farris; eight grandchildren Julie Stifflemire, Jimbo Oakley, Christi Buhrle, Dayle Rae Borunda, Suzanna O'Rear, Thomas C. O'Rear, James Allen Culver and Drucilla O'Rear, nineteen great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren, numerous neices and nephews.

She was preceeded by her parents, husband Thomas B. O'Rear in 1972, her son Thomas B O'Rear Jr in 2009, two grandchildren, three brothers and two sisters.

Direct cremation will take place under the care of PCS Direct Cremation Services. A memorial service will take place at a later date.
