Charles "Chuck" Thompson, 68, passed away on March 16, 2026, in El Paso, Texas. He was born on October 3, 1957, in Uniontown, Pennsylvania to John and Lagatha (Harford) Thompson.
After the death of Charles' mother, Lagatha, his father married Ruth Thompson and relocated the family to Amarillo, Texas in 1963. Charles attended Tascosa High School in Amarillo, TX. He then enlisted in the United States Air Force and served his country until he retired from Holloman Air Force Base making Alamogordo his home. Charles married Sue Thompson after coming here, she has since passed away. After her passing, he married Shirley Thompson. He enjoyed entertaining everyone with his clown acts, magic tricks, and balloon characters. He had many hobbies, unique collections, and one of a kind creations.
Charles is Survived by his brother, Thomas Henry Littlehales of Amarillo, TX; numerous nieces, nephews, other family relatives, and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Betty Schuster and Wanda Henson; four brothers, John Thompson Jr., Neil Thompson, David Thompson, and David Littlehales.
The family will greet friends at 12:00 pm on Friday, April 17, 2026, at the Real Life Fellowship Church of God located at 1905 Hamilton Road, Alamogordo, NM 88310. The memorial service for Charles Thompson will be officiated by Reverend Joshua Wright.
Interment will follow at Monte Vista Cemetery.
