Prices are subject to taxes at current rate.

The goods and services shown below are those we provide to our customers. We are a direct disposition establishment. We do not offer funeral arrangements. Therefore, any funeral arrangements or memorial services you may make will be separate and distinct services and costs from the charges for our services. You may choose only those items you desire. However, if legal or other requirements mean you must purchase items you did not specifically choose, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement (contract) we provide describing the goods and services you select.

BASIC SERVICES of Direct Disposer and Staff

$495

These services include: conducting the arrangement conference; consulting with family; shelter of remains; preparing and filing necessary notices; obtaining necessary authorizations and permits; coordinating with the crematory, cemetery, or other third parties.

REFRIGERATION (in lieu of embalming)

$250

The law requires that all bodies not disposed of within 24 hours after death be embalmed or stored under refrigeration. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing.

Our establishment does not provide embalming, caskets or burials. It is our policy to require refrigeration of an unembalmed body. Note: After 4 days of refrigeration, there will be $50 per day or portion thereof charge added

TRANSPORTATION

Transfer of deceased from place of death to PCS crematory (within Lincoln and Otero Counties)

Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering). Metal containers are not acceptable, and most metal hardware will be removed. The container we provide is a cardboard container.

Our charge for a direct cremation (no ceremony) includes: basic services of direct disposer and staff; removal of remains; transportation to crematory; refrigeration; necessary authorizations; crematory fee and plastic urn. In most areas of the country, state or local law does not require that you buy a container to surround the casket(urn) in the grave. However, many cemeteries require that you have such a container so that the grave will not sink in. Either a grave liner or a burial (urn) vault will satisfy these requirements.
