About Us

We built PCS in 2003 in Alamogordo, serving Otero and Lincoln counties, to meet the growing demand for a local crematory. Before that, funeral homes had to use out-of-town/county crematories, operated by persons they did not know. PCS is a state-of-the-art crematory, and is regularly serviced by professionals. In 2004, we opened PCS Direct Disposition Services in Alamogordo, serving the public directly, and in 2011, we opened PCS-R in Ruidoso. In 2017, we bought our present location at 101 Reese in Ruidoso, and changed the name to New Dawn Cremations. In 2013, because of the growing need for a pet crematory, we added a new crematory and opened PCS- Precious Pets. We continue to proudly serve the residents of Otero and Lincoln counties for their cremation needs, and for the needs of their pets. “You Never Leave Our Care."
